House in Kościelisko, Living Area

Realised living room in alpine style

The living area of this house in Kościelisko combines the atmosphere characteristic of the Podhale region with a modern approach to interior design. Warm wood, black elements, stone and natural fabrics create an interior with a bold, evening character.

Its boldest accent is a black kitchen with a wooden island and an open dining area with striking wine storage cabinetry. The whole is complemented by large glazing, which brings in natural light and preserves a connection with the surroundings.

Black kitchen with a wooden island

The kitchen was kept in a deep, graphite-black colour palette. A wooden island warms up the composition, and backlit cabinetry with open shelves displaying glassware give the space a more representative character.

Dining area and living room

The dining area, with a large wooden table, forms a natural gathering point. Next to it is a relaxation zone with a soft sofa, and wooden structural elements together with black glazing create a coherent frame for the whole living area.

Realisation of a house in Kościelisko

This is an example of an interior in which alpine style was translated into a more modern, bolder language. Wood and stone provide warmth, while black, glass and minimalist forms give the arrangement a contemporary character.
