House in Tarnów, Living Area

Interior design project for a single-family house in Tarnów

The living area of this house in Tarnów was designed as an open, representative space, in which the kitchen, dining room and living room form one composition. Light wood, stone, layered oak flooring and soft fabrics give the interior warmth, while bolder elements — a marble wall, a fireplace and darker accents — introduce an elegant contrast.

Large glazing opens the living room onto the terrace and garden, keeping natural light shaping the character of the space throughout the day.

Kitchen with a marble countertop and large island

The kitchen was designed as the central element of the living area. A large island with a marble countertop opens towards the dining room, creating a spot for both everyday meals and family gatherings.

Behind the island is a tall kitchen unit that hides technical functions and keeps the open space organised. Wooden cabinetry elements warm up the stone surfaces and echo the herringbone oak flooring.

Living room with a fireplace and garden view

The living room is arranged around a fireplace clad in light stone. The TV was placed on a wooden wall, allowing technical elements to blend into the interior's architecture.

A modular sofa, soft armchairs and rounded side tables create a more relaxed seating area. A glazed wall leading to the terrace keeps a direct connection with the garden.

Wood, stone and oak flooring

Wood is one of the materials repeated throughout the interior. Layered oak flooring, laid in a herringbone pattern, forms a calm backdrop for the bolder stone surfaces.

The same palette continues into the hallway and bathroom. Backlit shelving, joinery and mirrors were designed so that functional elements also become part of the interior's composition.
