Interior design project in highland style

This is one of the few DWACONCEPT interiors that deliberately draws on traditional highland style. It's not just a contemporary interior inspired by the mountains - its character is defined by authentic, carved wooden elements, traditional joinery and decorative details.

The kitchen was designed with richly decorated wooden cabinetry, stained-glass panels and a stone floor. Wood remains the main material here and, at the same time, the most important decorative element.

Carved kitchen

The kitchen cabinetry fronts were enriched with hand-carved-looking motifs and glazing. Darker wood was paired with a stone floor and traditional details, creating an interior with a very distinctive character.

Dining area with traditional furniture

The dining area was furnished with a solid wooden table and distinctive, decoratively carved chairs. An extra window seat gives the space a more homely, relaxed feel.

Traditional highland style in an interior design project

Unlike most of DWACONCEPT's contemporary projects in the Podhale region, tradition here wasn't merely reinterpreted. Carved wood, regional details and distinctive joinery create an interior that deliberately draws on authentic highland style.
